Foster-Inman's transfer to Everton FC was completed for an undisclosed fee, as the move marks a significant moment for Halifax Tides FC, the NSL and Canadian women's professional soccer.
"Rylee has been an important part of the 2026 season, and we're excited to see her begin this next chapter with Everton," said Ruth Fahy, Vice President of Football, Halifax Tides FC. "This transfer is a reflection of Rylee's quality and of the calibre of players competing in the NSL. As the first transfer from the NSL to the WSL, it reinforces the strength of our league and the opportunities that exist for players within the global game. We're proud to have been part of Rylee's journey and look forward to following her continued success."

"When the opportunity to return home and play in Canada came up, I couldn't ignore it. Being able to represent the Tides has been so special. Football as a Tides player meant more than just playing a game to me; it meant trailblazing, inspiring, and driving a force for change in our country,” said Foster-Inman. “Although my stay has been shorter than expected, I am tremendously honoured to have been part of the Tides second season. Halifax will always be considered a home for us. This is what the NSL is, what it can be, and will be."
Days Ahead
Halifax Tides FC welcomes goalkeeper Kirstin Tynan on a short-term loan from Vancouver Rise FC as the Tides continue their push toward the playoffs.
Tynan joins Halifax from Vancouver Rise FC, where she has played since the club’s inaugural 2025 season and was part of the NSL’s first championship-winning squad. Prior to her professional debut, Tynan had a standout U SPORTS career at Queen’s University, making 58 starts and recording 33 clean sheets while earning U SPORTS All-Canadian and OUA First Team All-Star honours. She also captained TSS Rovers in League1 BC and has spent time training with Everton FC in England.
Tynan will join Samantha St. Croix and 2025 NSL Goalkeeper of the Year Anika Tóth, who broke out in the league's inaugural season after stepping into the starting role for the Tides. Tóth made 19 appearances, recorded four clean sheets and made 72 regular-season saves en route to earning Goalkeeper of the Year honours and a place on the NSL Team of the Season, voted on by NSL players. Together, the trio adds further depth and experience to the Tides' goalkeeping group for the remainder of the season.
Everyone at Halifax Tides FC thanks Rylee for her commitment and contributions during the club's sophomore season and wishes her every success in this next chapter with Everton FC.
