We’re thrilled to welcome Julianne "Jubes" Vallerand to Halifax Tides FC! A fearless competitor bringing versatility, international experience, and a serious edge to our lineup.
Hailing from Terrebonne, Quebec, Julianne’s journey has taken her from local fields to the world stage. A former standout at West Virginia University, she’s played everywhere from striker to fullback, and excelled in every role. Most recently, she suited up for Spokane Zephyr FC, where her standout play earned her a spot on the USL’s Best XI team of the month.
Jubes has represented Canada on some of youth soccer’s biggest stages- including the 2018 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup and multiple CONCACAF championships; collecting medals, Best XI honours, and unforgettable moments along the way. Whether it’s locking down a flank, breaking lines, or driving forward with confidence, she plays with grit, intelligence, and total freedom.
“Soccer is freedom,” she says. “I’m excited to go to ‘work’ every day.”
From a gold medal at the 2017 Canada Games with Team Quebec, to a Big 12 Championship with WVU, to wearing the maple leaf with pride, Jubes has done it all. And now, she’s ready to take on the East Coast.
Welcome to the club, Jubes!
