Amanda joined the Tides in August as our Merchandise & Administrative Coordinator, jumping straight into a match day on her very first shift. You may recognize her from our merch booths at The Grounds, from assisting through our club inbox, or from visits to the office.

Born and raised in Brazil, Amanda moved to Canada in 2015 with a lifelong passion for sport. A former competitive figure skater, she spent over a decade competing at regional and national levels while earning a Bachelor’s in Physical Education and a Master’s in Human Movement Science.

After moving to Canada, she rebuilt her career through retail and operations roles before returning to sport as a fitness instructor and strength and conditioning trainer with the Halifax Skating Club.

Now with the Tides, Amanda brings a unique blend of sport, retail, and administrative experience that strengthens our club in many ways. We’re excited to have her grow with us.
