Halifax Tides FC announced that midfielder Sarah Taylor will return to the squad for the 2026 season, continuing her journey with the club after last year’s inaugural campaign.

Taylor appeared in 15 matches last season, logging 752 minutes of game time. She recorded 50 tackles, 752 passes, and six shots, showing her commitment and versatility whenever called upon.

“In the second half of the season, Sarah returned with a real determination to earn a starting role,” said Tides head coach Stephen Hart. “She gave us balance in midfield with her ability to break up play, protect the back line, and contribute in possession. Now fully healthy, her attitude and competitive nature should make her an important piece for us this season.”

Taylor is also known for her team-first approach and strong chemistry with teammates, making her a key presence to the team.

“Getting another year with Halifax Tides and the opportunity to play in front of my family, friends, and supporters pushes me to be better every day,” Taylor said. “I believe in this team and the direction we’re heading. We’re locked in, motivated, and ready to make some waves.”

Fans can look forward to seeing Taylor bring her energy, commitment, and leadership to the squad as Halifax prepares for the new season.
