Halifax Tides FC (7-10-6, 27 points) closes out its regular-season home schedule on Saturday, Oct. 17 when they host Montreal (11-4-8, 41 points) at Wanderers Grounds. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. AT, with tickets starting at $15 available here. The match will be broadcast live on CBC and RDS 2.
Saturday’s match is Fan Appreciation Night, a chance for the club to thank the supporters who have backed the Tides through their second season. Fans can expect a slate of giveaways throughout the match.
Halifax sits fifth in the standings and is battling for a playoff spot. A win would put Halifax in a strong position heading into its regular-season final. Montreal has already clinched a playoff berth and would secure the Shield, awarded to the league’s top team over the regular season, with a victory in Saturday's match.
