Halifax Tides FC fans can look forward to seeing Karima Lemire back in Tides colours in 2026, with the adaptable midfielder set to return to Wanderers Grounds following her contract extension.

Lemire was a consistent and adaptable contributor during the 2025 campaign, appearing in 24 matches and logging 1,625 regular-season minutes. Deployed primarily as a centre midfielder and left back, she added two assists and played a role in three clean sheets, providing stability on both sides of the ball.

“Karima can be described as a versatile player, with a good understanding of the game,” said head coach Stephen Hart. “Last season, due to a need, Karima showed her versatility, playing at both the full back and central midfield roles. Karima is determined to make a consistent contribution and secure a starting position within the squad.”

Her return adds continuity and depth to the Tides lineup as the club continues to build toward the 2026 season. With her work rate, tactical awareness, and flexibility, Lemire will once again be an important option as Halifax look ahead to another year at Wanderers Grounds.
