A dynamic and relentless midfielder, Gianna joins us after an impressive five-year career at University of California Irvine, where she started all 87 matches over 5 years, accumulating a total of 7,789 minutes on the pitch. She set the program's records for matches, starts, and minutes played, while solidifying her reputation as one of the top midfielders in her division.

A standout player in the Big West Conference, Gianna earned multiple honours, including being named to the All-West Region Third Team, All-Big West First Team, and All-Big West Second Team. She also ranked #1 in the Big West for tackles won, showcasing her tenacity and defensive prowess. Over her career, she led her team to three Big West Conference championships and played an instrumental role in two consecutive Sweet 16 appearances in the NCAA tournament.

Beyond her college success, Gianna gained valuable professional experience training with the Portland Thorns as a replacement player during the international break in February 2024, further honing her skills at the highest level.
