HALIFAX, N.S. — Halifax Tides FC is proud to announce that goalkeeper Anika Tóth has been named the Northern Super League’s (NSL) Goalkeeper of the Year for the 2025 inaugural season.

Tóth started 19 matches for the Tides, recording four clean sheets and 72 saves, helping anchor the team’s defence all season. She was also named to the 2025 NSL Team of the Season.

The Canadian/Slovakian international earned her first international call-up with Slovakia’s U17 team in 2019 and made her senior debut in 2023. Tóth signed to Halifax in February 2025 and has re-signed through 2027.
