MATCHDAY LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

CHIEF STEWARD

Part-Time | Seasonal
Reporting to the Game Day Manager, the Chief Steward leads all Guest Services & Event Operations on matchday and serves as the primary liaison between front-of-house operations and Match Day leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Overseeing usher and ticket scanner deployment and zone assignments
• Developing and managing match-by-match staffing schedules in coordination with the Match Day Operations Lead
• Acting as primary liaison between Guest Services and Event Operations
• Coordinating staffing adjustments during peak ingress and halftime surges
• Supporting emergency coordination within seating areas
• Ensuring aisles, egress routes, and accessibility areas remain compliant
• Providing performance feedback and staffing recommendations
• Maintaining active radio communication throughout the event

The Chief Steward sets the professional and safety standard for Guest Services operations and leads with composure, accountability, and operational awareness.

ZONE LEAD (LEAD USHER)

Part-Time | Seasonal
Reporting to the Chief Steward, Lead Ushers oversee assigned seating zones and serve as the primary point of coordination within their area. They provide guidance and direction to Guest Services team members while ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Supervising assigned seating zones or section clusters
• Providing real-time direction and support to ushers and ticket scanners
• Monitoring crowd flow, accessibility needs, and overall guest experience
• Identifying and escalating safety or operational concerns early
• Supporting in-event staff redeployment during peak periods
• Maintaining clear and professional radio communication

Lead Ushers are service-driven, safety-focused leaders who help set the standard for matchday execution.

EVENT BUILD LEAD

Part-Time | Seasonal
Reporting to the Stadium Operations Lead, Event Build Lead(s) oversee the Set-Up & Strike staff and are responsible for safe, efficient venue transformation.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Leading the set-up and strike crew
• Confirming safe working conditions during build and tear-down
• Ensuring venue configuration aligns with the operational plan
• Coordinating placement of infrastructure and event assets
• Securing restricted areas prior to gates
• Reporting site readiness status to Match Day Operations
• Maintaining active and professional radio communication on Match Day.
• Event Build Leads are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of managing both people and timelines in dynamic environments.

SCHEDULING EXPECTATIONS

Event Build Lead is required on match day. Depending on stadium access, weather conditions, and event timelines, additional shifts may be scheduled 1–2 days before and/or after each match. Hours may include early mornings, late evenings, or extended shifts. Flexibility is essential
